If a Student Misses a Test Request Deadline

Test requests must be submitted 3 business days in advance of the test date. The Testing Center administers over 1500 tests each semester which requires an extensive amount of detail and organization. It takes time to coordinate with instructors and organize exams. When a student misses a deadline, it causes a disruption in the testing system, resulting in delays for students who followed the testing procedures.

When a student misses a test request deadline, the student must test in the classroom without accommodations unless the instructor is willing to accommodate; however, that is not a requirement of the instructor. Instructors are not able to approve a student to test at the Testing Center without prior discussion with the DRC Testing Coordinator. Exceptions are very limited.
