Final Exams

Scheduling Exams

  • The deadline to submit test requests for final exams will be announced after fall/spring break. It is the student's responsibility to schedule final exams.
  • In order for students to take final exams at the DRC, test requests must be submitted in Banner.
  • All final exams administered through the DRC Testing Center will be 4.5 hours (50% time) unless a student has additional time in their accommodation plan. Any additional time must be indicated in the Notes section of the test request. The DRC office will verify the approval of any additional time over 50%.
  • Students are required to schedule their exams on the same day and time as the University's Final Exam Schedule. Any test request that is scheduled outside of the course's test time is subject to cancellation, and the student runs the risk of missing the final exam.
  • If a student has back-to-back tests where the first exam will overlap into the next exam (i.e. students who have 12:30 and 3:00 exams or students who have 3:00 and 5:00 exams on the same day), the student must arrange an alternate test time with the instructor AND the Testing Coordinator PRIOR to submitting a test request. Again, students cannot schedule a final exam outside of the course's test time without approval (see previous bulleted point). Once the student has been approved to submit an alternate test time, the student must include that information in the Notes section of the test request. If approval was not obtained by the student prior to scheduling the test request, this may result in the cancellation of a test request and the student will have to take the exam in the classroom without accommodations.
  • If there are any discrepancies with test requests, notify the DRC prior to the University Reading Day.
