- Lack of alternative text—this should be placed with all images and tables in an online course. It should describe the importance of the image to the content being learned.
- Lack of closed captioning – all video and audio content requires closed captioning. Canvas Studio allows instructors to caption audio and video files.
- Readability – Content and text should read left to right, and then top to bottom, like reading a book
