Notification Letters

Students must complete the following steps each semester prior to receiving academic accommodations:

Step 1: Send Notification Letters
For a student to receive accommodations each semester, it is the student’s responsibility to send Notification Letters to their instructors. This should be completed as close to the start of the semester as possible.

Step 2: Meet with Instructors
Students should arrange a one-on-one meeting with instructors to review the Notification Letter and to discuss how accommodations will be provided in the course. Students do not need to disclose their disability.

Step 3: Remain in Communication with Instructors and the DRC
Students will need to contact the DRC office if the nature of the disability changes. It is the student’s responsibility to arrange accommodations as needed.

Important Information about Notification Letters
